Enjoy a cruise on the majestic Wetlands of Corroboree Billabong where you can see great varieties of birds and crocodiles in their natural habitat as you enjoy a 1.0 hour, 1.5 hour (Sunrise or Sunset) or 3.0 hour cruise (including lunch on the wetlands).
Corroboree Billabong is part of the Mary River Wetlands and apart from teaming with birdlife it also has the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world. View these prehistoric creatures in their natural environment swimming around the billabong and relaxing on the banks as we cruise past.
The birdlife here is fantastic and you will see a huge variety of species such as Jabiru, Ibis, Brolga, Egret, Kite, Sea Eagle, Magpie Geese, and many others. Learn about the wildlife on the Billabong from your knowledgeable guide who will make your cruise both interesting and informative.
Corroboree Billabong is situated off of the Arnhem Highway and is only 104km drive from Darwin or 187km from Jabiru. To reach the cruise, you need to drive down a 20km well maintained unsealed road that adjoins the Arnhem Highway. If you do not wish to drive your vehicle on an unsealed road, there is a shuttle service that meets all cruises and departs from Corroboree Park Tavern on the Arnhem Highway 21 km away from the cruise. The shuttle driver provides commentary on the region during the drive and departs from Corroboree Park Tavern 30 minutes prior to the scheduled cruise times. The shuttle costs an additional $5 per person return and bookings are essential. (Shuttle only Operates May - Oct inclusive).
